of Germany ,”
Ambassador Duexmann said on Tuesday, while touring the site with other
government officials.
He added: “We call upon the government
and the community to support the site for both income generating activities and
as a study centre for Ugandans and the whole world.”

The commissioner for Museums and Monuments at the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Ms Rose Nkaale, appealed to citizens to identify many other cultural sites.
“The communities should identify many cultural sites such that
the Ministry of Tourism can turn them into tourism sites to generate income for
our people. We have many sites in Uganda which are unknown due to
lack of information,” Ms Nkaale said.
State Minister for Finance Fred Omach said the place would have
created employment for about 60 per cent of youth in the district had it been
developed years back.
